Energy Central Learning Hub

Energy Central Learning Hub is a new 2396msq STEM learning facility and conference space, part of Energy Central Campus’ ambitious mission to lead the UK ’s clean energy revolution from the North East. The Learning Hub will be home to specialist STEM education and training, equipping more people with the skills the renewables sector needs and is due to open in 2024. 

The Learning Hub will:

  • Provide specialist facilities for vocational training, including modular skills courses 
  • Enhance engagement with STEM careers through a dynamic education programme 
  • Showcase clean energy’s potential to transform the region with exhibition and visitor spaces 
  • Encourage collaboration between employers, educators and researchers with dedicated conferencing spaces
